Visual Dictionary

1. The Visual Dictionary allows users to visually browse images by category. Toggle between Spanish, English, or French versions of the dictionary using the buttons near the upper right.

2. Choose a theme by clicking on an image in the circle of categories. Continue to refine your selection by clicking on more specific categories.

3. A breadcrumb at the upper left of the pages shows the categories and subcategories selected.

4. On the content pages, labels illustrate and define the key features of the image.

From the World Book Discover homepage, users can also search or browse through the World Book Discover dictionary. Based on the World Book Student Dictionary, it features simpler language and thousands of illustrations and pictures. On article pages, users can doubleclick on any word to see a popup definition from the dictionary.
