Clever portal integration instructions

Follow the steps below to allow students to launch World Book Online from their Clever portal.

1. The Clever admin should send us a request to connect via the portal. We will accept the request and make the necessary changes on our end.
2. Once the connection is established, select the Customize Portal option.
3. Click on Add Link next to the category under which you want World Book to appear.
4. Search for World Book Online. Click on the World Book App:
   
5. Select Publish changes after you are finished. World Book will now appear in the Clever portal.
   

Clever instant login link instructions

Once we have established a connection, which is kicked off by the Clever admin sending us a request to connect, instant login links can be configured to allow students to launch World Book with their Clever credentials outside of the Clever portal.

District admins can locate an app's instant login link from the Clever District Dashboard. For specific instructions on accessing links visit the Clever help page.

Once the World Book app has been added, students can launch World Book Online from their Clever portal.

1. Log in using your individual Clever credentials.
   
2. Select the World Book Online icon to launch.
   
3. Students will be taken to the super home page with icons for all World Book resources available through your subscription.

Once the Clever admin sets up instant login links, students can log in to World Book products from a Learning Management System or school website using their Clever credentials.

1. Click on a World Book icon on the school resource page, examples shown below.
   
2. If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to enter your Clever credentials.
   
3. The corresponding application will open once the student has logged in to Clever.
   

Adding World Book applications

Once the Clever admin sets up instant login links, students can log in to World Book products from a Learning Management System or school website using their Clever credentials.

1. Select the 'Customize Portal' option.
2. Click ‘Add Link’ next to the category under which you want the new link to appear.
3. If it is a Clever-supported application, search by the name.
   
4. Click the desired application to add the link.
5. Select ‘Save Changes’ after you are finished.
