Games

The games on Student are provided by Legends of Learning. Games are a great way to engage reluctant learners through disguised learning and offer another way to look at information!

Access

Users can find Legends of Learning games in three places on Student.

  1. Click on the games button under "Quick Links" on the homepage.
    2. Student homepage
  2. Select games from the side menu.

  3. In articles that align with topics covered in the game.

Games

  1. Scroll down and select the desired subject and grade range by clicking see more next to it.

  2. Choose a game from the page organized by topic or click see more to reveal all games in that topic.
    3. Middle Science Games
  3. Some topics can be organized into subtopics. To do this select topics and select the subtopic that you are interested in.

  4. Hover over a game and click the "i" to reveal a game description, recommended grades, and curriclum integrations.

  5. Curriculum integrations include vocabulary words, discussion questions for before and after the game, and the main concepts covered in the game.

Click here for a complete game list. This list is kept up-to-date as games are added. In the list you can find:

  • The article title(s) where the game can be found within Student.
  • Relevant standard and subject tags.
  • Descriptions of the topic and the game.
  • Related vocabulary words.
  • Pre & post game discussion questions.
