eBooks contain something for all ages and all subjects. This digital library includes highly illustrated, engaging titles that span the curriculum and reading levels.  Some books include interactive games, quizzes, and activities to enrich learning.   A subscription includes automatic updates and revision to eBooks, as well as any new titles that are added to the site.

Customize your collection

The ability to customize your collection gives you control over the titles you would like to have as part of your subscription. Collections vary - if you don't see a title, they are not part of your subscription.

  • The World Book eBooks Collection includes World Book's entire frontlist and backlist of nearly 400 books. eBooks in this collection also exist in leveled collections: Early Reader, Emerging Reader, Beginning Reader, and Advanced Reader.
  • The Open Access Collection of nearly 2,000 titles, found in the World Classics categories of eBooks, gives easy access to titles from such well-known authors as William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, and Mark Twain.

Subscription details

Subscribers receive unlimited, simultaneous access to all books in the collection as well as unlimited downloads to any tablet or mobile device via the World Book eBooks app. Each reader can customize his or her reading experience with notes, highlights, drawings, and bookmarks that automatically save when a user logs in to their personal My World Book Account.

Free eBook Materials

  • There are ready-made activities to accompany some of our eBooks. Click here to view and download the eBook activities for different series.
  • Many Building Block sets come with online activities and ready-made classroom material for educators. To view materials for Building Block sets Click here.
  • Many of our eBooks also have downloadable quizzes/activities to accompany them. These are linked directly to the text on the eBooks platform under "More info" or you can find direct links to them in our World Book eBooks Title List.
  • Let users know they have access to eBooks with flyers, social media posts, and other promotional material. Click here to explore, view, and download.
