Is there a complete title list of eBooks available on the platform?
Yes! We have a Google sheet that includes all eBook metadata, including Lexile measures, AR levels, interest levels, series titles, copyright year, and more.

Can I search for books by Lexile level?Yes! While there is not a Lexile filter in the eBook platform, users can filter the eBook title list to find texts by Lexile level.

Does World Book have an eBooks app?
Absolutely! The World Book eBooks app is available for tablets and smartphones. Users can download the app for free through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Please see the following list of optimized smartphone devices and operating systems:
- iPhone 6 and above
- Apple devices must be running iOS 9 or above.
- Samsung Galaxy
- Google Nexus
- Android devices must be running 4.4 (KitKat) and above.

Do users need a username and password to download eBooks and use the eBooks app?
Yes. Users need to log in to the app using their personal eBooks account . For users familiar with World Book, you can also use your My World Book Account.

Where can users download MARC records for eBooks?Users can download MARC records through Account Tools.
- Sign in.
- Click Downloads.
- Select eBook MARC Records.
- Follow the step-by-step instructions provided on the page.
Note: Each time an account downloads MARC records, they are only downloading ones that have been updated or added since their last download.

Does a user have to have a My World Book Account to use eBooks ?No, but we recommend logging in with a My World Book Account because this allows the user to save notes, annotations, add books to favorites, and access recently viewed titles. A user can still use eBooks without logging in, however, any annotations and customization will not be saved once the user exits the eBook platform if they are not signed in to their individual account.

Which internet browsers can I use for World Book eBooks?World Book eBooks is compatible with the following browsers:
- Google Chrome, version 72 and higher
- Microsoft Edge
- Safari, version 10.0 and higher
- Firefox, version 60 and higher

Do you recommend specific browser settings to optimize World Book eBooks?Yes. World Book recommends the following settings for best performance:
- An up-to-date browser.
- Ensure cookies are enabled.
- Allow pop-up windows for the eBooks site.
- Enable javascript.

When users click on the MARC record in our system, does it take them directly to the eBook?Yes, the MARC records link directly to the eBook.

Does the eBook platform support students using their Google accounts to sign in to the system?Yes. If an account has provided us with their G Suite domain(s), students may use their G Suite credentials to sign in to World Book. We recommend using the eBook widget provided from Account Tools to make this process seamless for students.
