How-to
Dramatic Learning also offers skits, usually involving two or three performers, that are directly related to the plays available on the site. You can use the skits as a creative extension of learning or as a “sampler” or a mini-performance to test how your students respond to the idea of performing a full-length play script. These skits are designed to be a mini-play with a beginning, middle, and end, and are great sources for reader’s theater.
Find skits in the Actor's Corner section on the home page. This will take you to a page with all of the skits available on the site.
You can also find skits on a play’s landing page or in the menu on the left side of a play page. If the play you’re working on has a skit, it will be listed here.
Each skit can be downloaded and printed as a Word document for easy distribution, and for in-class or take-home practice.
