Citation builder

The citation builder allows users to easily create formatted citations in MLA, APA, and Harvard formats.

Create citations

Select Citation builder from the features list. This is found under Research and Resources.
The drop-down menu reveals a list of source types. Select the type that matches your source.
After selecting a content type, the citation builder will display a fill-in-the-blank chart with fields matching the source type selected.
Fill in the chart with the corresponding information then click Create citation.

Note: Any fields left blank that are required in order to create the citation will be marked in red and must be filled in before you can proceed.
The correctly formatted citation will display in MLA, APA, and Harvard formats. The citation can be printed, e-mailed, saved, or saved to one of the user’s My Research projects.
