Google Classroom

Many World Book products integrate directly with Google classroom. Read below to find out various ways to use World Book with Google classroom.

Create as a teacher

If you are logged in to a Google teacher account, you can link directly to World Book content to create an assignment, ask a question, make an announement, or create material.

Search or browse for an article or other content you’d like to use as part of the assignment.
Select the gear symbol to reveal tools.
Choose Share,then select Google Classroom.
If you’re not already logged in to your Google account, this will prompt you to log in. Log in to your account, then proceed.
Choose the class you want to share this resource with.
Choose create an assignment.
Note: You can select the other actions in the list to share material in a variety of formats.
As you would normally in Google Classroom, you can then title your assignment, add instructions, set point values, and due dates. World Book will link its resource to your post.

Turn in as a student

If you are logged in to a Google student account, you can turn in content directly from World Book.

Search or browse for an article or other content you’d like to turn in.
Select the gear symbol to reveal tools.
Choose Share,then select Google Classroom.
If you’re not already logged in to your Google account, this will prompt you to log in. Log in to your account, then proceed.
Choose the class which you need to turn in content.
Select the appropriate assignement..
Click Go.
The content will appear as a link. Click Attach.
Review your content and add comments if needed. Click Turn in to submit.
To change content, unsumbit and find a different article.
