Access Wizard

In order to access Wizard, you must have Student and a My World Book Account. The view and features once inside Wizard will vary based on the type of account (teacher or student).

If you would like to take advantage of the teacher tools available in Wizard—including the ability to create classes, monitor progress, and assign drills and courses—create a teacher account. You will need the educator code, provided by World Book, the first time you log in to the feature.

If you do not need to monitor student activity and simply want to use drills to practice and learn, create a student account. No code is required for a student account.

Access the Wizard feature

If Wizard is part of your subscription, you will see it within Student.

Enter Student.
World Book Wizard is accessible from two places—under the quick links header on the homepage or in the alphabetical list of features in the hamburger menu on the top right-hand side of the site.
Wizard is a personalized learning experience that requires the use of a personal account. This is called a My World Book Account (previously known as a My Research account) and can be created from the Wizard homepage.
Click continue to log in to an existing account or to create a new account.
If you already have a My World Book Account, enter that username and password on the login page.
If you are brand new to World Book or have never created a My World Book Account, click create an account. Follow the on-screen instructions, then log in with your newly created username and password.
For teacher accounts -on your first login only, you will be required to enter an educator code. This code gives you access to the teacher features mentioned above - creating classes, monitoring student pogress, etc.
If you are not sure what your code is, ask your account admin or contact wizard@worldbook.com.

New Student Account

If you do not have a My World Book Account, you must create one to use Wizard. Follow the steps below to get started.

Enter Student.
Select World Book Wizard from the Quick Links menu or under the side feature menu.
Click the green continue button.
Select Create an account.
Fill in the form with the required information. Under Account Type select Student from the list of choices then click Submit.
A message will appear confirming successful account creation. Click ok to proceed.
The login screen will pop up to allow you to log in to your newly created account. Enter the account credentials and click Login.
This will bring you to your student dashboard. You are now ready to use Wizard!

Existing Student Account

If you have an existing My World Book Account simply log in to Wizard.

Enter Student.
Select World Book Wizard from the Quick Links menu or under the side feature menu.
Click the green continue button.
If you are already logged in to your My World Book Account, you will be taken directly to your personal student dashboard. If you are not logged in, you will be taken to the login screen. Enter your login credentials and click Login.
This will bring you to your student dashboard. You are now ready to use Wizard!

New Teacher Account

If you would like to take advantage of the teacher tools available in Wizard—including the ability to create classes, invite students to join them, and assign drills and courses you must have a My World Book Account - teacher.

Enter Student.
Select World Book Wizard from the Quick Links menu or under the side feature menu.
Click the green continue button.
Select Create an account.
Fill in the form with the required information. Under Account Type select Teacher from the list of choices then click Submit.
A message will appear confirming successful account creation. Click ok to proceed.
On your first login only, you will be required to enter an educator code. This code gives you access to the teacher features mentioned above - creating classes, monitoring student pogress, etc.

If you are not sure what your code is, ask your account admin or contact wizard@worldbook.com.
After entering the educator code, the login screen will pop up to allow you to log in to your newly created account. Enter the account credentials and click Login.
This will bring you to your teacher dashboard. You are now ready to use Wizard!

Existing Accounts- First time login

If you would like to take advantage of the teacher tools available in Wizard—including the ability to create classes, invite students to join them, and assign drills and courses you need to enter an educator code the first time you access Wizard.

Enter Student.
Select World Book Wizard from the Quick Links menu or under the side feature menu.
Click the green continue button.
If you are already logged in to your My World Book Account - the educator code screen will pop up at this point. If you are not logged in, you will be taken to the login screen. Enter your login credentials and click Login.
Once you see the following screen, enter your educator code.

If you are not sure what your code is, ask your account admin or contact wizard@worldbook.com.
This will bring you to your teacher dashboard. You are now ready to use Wizard!
